Acknowledging/celebrating one year sobriety

In a couple of weeks, my RAS will be one year clean and sober. I'm wrestling with how to acknowledge/celebrate this milestone. Do I just send a card and congratulate him or offer to take him to dinner or what to do. Your advice and ideas are much appreciated. Thank you.

I think dinner would be a very nice gesture. Nothing over the top, just a quiet dinner where you can acknowledge his accomplishment.

A nice dinner...a little conversation acknowledging his accomplishment is nice.

My husband is coming up one One Year next month. I asked him if he wanted to do anything special on the day, and he said "spend it with his family". We are just going to have a quiet day together. But, the next weekend we are going to have an expanded family dinner party & eat cake !

SO HAPPY for your son, and your family.
