Watching Actions instead of listening to words!
I have listened to those on SR tell me that actions speak louder than words.
So I moved out of our marital home almost 5 weeks ago. Last week, my AH said that he found an older woman to move in to the home with him and rent the in-law...which is fine because it would help to pay the mortgage...so "this woman" was as "he said" supposed to move in today. However, today...I find out that my AH has a man in his early twenties moving in this weekend "a friend from NA"..."someone in need". Yup...that "action" is not sitting so well with me today. I am not so sure two addicts living in my home is a good idea...I don't see the positive in this one. He just keeps reinforcing to me everyday why I filed for divorce.

Aren't you glad you're not there too? Having a front row seat to chaos is not fun. You never know....maybe it'll go fine......who knows.....but at least you're not sitting in a front row seat!

The NA renter could go either way. I have rented a room to an AA buddy and we strengthen each others sobriety, rather than tempting it. The "in need" comment is a big red flag. Do you know what this means exactly? Is he newly sober? Just lost his job? If he is far enough along in his sobriety he shouldn't be "in need".
