Angie PMed me.She is OK and (as we all suspected!) was just being a big
wuss about the whole thing!!!
I (appropriately) gave her the gov't issue vanilla de-wussification spiel.
Jokes aside.......you did good Angie......now enjoy your Christmas and
your plotting with LMN....(as transparent as it is incessant!)

As an aside, my husband had a bone marrow biop 12/3. He was supposed to hear back the following week. That did not happen. I started leaving messages and heard nothing. I know my husband was thinking the worst outcome and that the MD was holding off, not to spoil the holiday.
This forum taught me well, over the years. I no longer play all the " what if/worst case scenario" games and instead do my best to roll with the punches.
I decided to go into the office today with the intent of not leaving without an answer. His results were all clear. Communication had fallen through the cracks. It's always something.

I'm sure Angie will be along momentarily to verify she didn't
leave the planet during the Mayan/marrow apocalypse.But
ANYTHING involving bone marrow HURTS LIKE HELL.....and
leaves one in no mood to post.
If she comes back and tells us it hurts to laugh----THAT'S
when we bring out the big guns----a Mayan downpour of one-
liners straight from Hell's own comedy club! And if the world DOES
end tomorrow---at least the rest of us didn't have to be poked and

You're right,KE.....I think with craziebabie on injured reserve----I am prepared to accept a 5:1 verbal sparring ratio.....whilst still calling it even!
(4:1 if LMN has to tend to craziebabie)
BUT! I reserve the right to tap in Zoso if my butt is in serious jeopardy of getting kicked!!!! (not that that is even possible).......but I still reserve the right!

Vale, I just saw this the other thread I posted in I thought you was kidding I am honestly in tears that you started this thread and that so many of my SR family replied.
The test was not as painful as I had feared and I actually had fun while there my DD went with me and they sent her into the room while they took my blood pressure etc...
good thing they did she saw a bone marrow needle and turned it over so all I could see was the back of a package I didn't give it any thought.
I was joking with my doctor and nurse they had said for me to take 1 valium an hour before I came in and 1 once I got there but nope I am as stubborn as my bones imagine that I didn't take it.
My nurse said oh you should have so while she was cleaning the area for prep with betadine I was thanking her for the "lavender" scent therapy seeing it was so relaxing lol
i also asked my doctor if he could suck the fat out while he was already in there he started laughing and said are you sure you didn't take any valium I replied honestly nope just being me.
I did get some good news while he was doing the test as well he could not get any bone with the original tool they try first he had them give him something different and told me you will never have too worry about Osteoporosis.
I go back to his office on January 4th for my results.
All of you are amazing and I love each of you.

the abuse and when are DONE....we'll let you

and this marrow thing had BETTER turn out good.
