Since i had spent so much time and energy here, i did not want to totally abandon the site.

I am free and clear and have been for many months. I do not know when i last posted. My journey was and is my own and i would not change a thing.

The person who was the reason for me coming here has been clean for many months. Her life is her own and she works a program, has a job, lives with a friend and is doing well

i was done when i finished and i moved on when it was time.

that was a very interesting period of life

i will post more in the future about what i experienced and learned.
to any newcomers here, most of the people here share experience and insight that is useful. as with any public forum there will be some personality clunkers, just let those roll.

there is no timeline
there is no right or wrong

there is only a person caught in a powerfully bad place who is looking for a connection, or hope, or something.

it all passes

Hi Steve, glad things are going better for you...and also it's good to hear that she has cleaned up.

There comes a time in many relationships where the path splits and we each go our own way. We learn from the past and look forward to new beginnings.

May this new year be filled with new beginnings for you.
