Today I will try very hard to give to God all my resentment towards my husband. This resentment has been a very heavy burden to carry, and I have been weighed down by it for months. I need to be free from it. Please God, take this burden from me. Help me to let go. Help me to start 2013 fresh and light, free from this heavy, damaging weight, and free from all the wasted energy I expend to carry it around, day after day.

Today, I am surrending my will over to God and trusting in His Word.

I am also giving to God any negative thinking I have about myself or anyone else.

Today, I am giving to God any of my "self pity" and my fears of the unknown. I will give these to God and ask Him to give me strength, courage and to remove my fears.

Today I am giving God my memory of these addiction specific events of the
past 4 years,and not letting the memories color my feeling for people or life
or anything else.

I choose to focus on the Serenity Prayer at this time of the morning, hoping I will continue to practice the message throughout the day, as I am once again slipping into trying to manage things at work and home that are out of my control.

I also have to continue to remind myself that it's none of my business what others think of me and ask my HP for strength to keep that boundary.
