Looks like this is becoming a co dependent beating thread.
Maylie, I resent your post, not in terms of the op, in terms of my history with co dependency.
Perhaps I should have left my father and mother when I was 4 years old and my father was tearing up the house, myself, my brothers and my mother. If only I has gone to alanon then.
There is no black and white here, no one size fits all. It's not easy to be in a relationship with someone who has been sober , relapses and just say, later dude. Not when you have a whole lot of your life poured into the thing.
