Kinda OT - Asking for more prayers and good thoughts for ((SpeedyJason))
Most of you, here, know what happened to ((Jay)) not long ago. For those who don't, he was almost killed by his bio-mom's bf, his dog ((Taz)) was killed.
Today, at 1pm CST, ((Jay)) is facing this man in court. My prayer is that justice will prevail and "Dick" will spend a lot of years in custody.
I guess it's not really OT - ((Jay)) is an RA, and his dad was an A who killed himself. This "kid" has been through more than most of the adults I know, and it's time he can fully enjoy his life without looking over his shoulder ("Dick" broke a restraining order to come after him).
((Jay)) knows I'm posting this and said he doesn't know what he would do without everyone at SR. That includes this forum, as you all have been through many scary things with him.
Besides, I figure no defense lawyer has a CHANCE going up against all of us here, right?

Prayers and support going out to Jay and his family. He has been through so much in his young life. I truly hope that justice is served and that menace is put in prison for a long, long time.

I lit a candle today for you Jay. I will think of you all day, and wish you the best. You have made quite an impression on everyone here. You are so loved here, and I think that you know, many of us will be in that courtroom with you today.

I know this will be an especially difficult time for you, but you are so strong and I just know you will get through this.......finally........and it will be OVER. Hugs, prayers and strong positive vibes going out to Jay today. I don't have a lot of faith in the system either but I DO have a lot of faith in God......and ultimately, that is who this man gets to face.
