A little Halloween fun...

The downtown businesses host trick or treat for the kids after school. Since my youngest daughter Amber had to work, yours truly took her dog Sissy in her headless horseman costume (a huge hit every year). I should have stood in the sun for the picture, and of course, Sissy would not stand and cooperate! She has a saddle on her back with the headless horseman on board, complete with a flowing black cape and pumpkin in outstretched hand! I'll have to finish looking through cell phone pics to see if I got a better one downtown.

And of course, zombie lady (AD) and her dog Cap'n Bitties! She owes me a full can of hair spray!

Priceless!!! Just Priceless!!!!

When I go to put any costume, even 'antlers' on my dogs at Xmas they give that
look of:

You want me to wear WHAT????

And, of course, I cave, lol.

Love and hugs,

I love the pics! Hope you all had lots of fun. We (well, actually, my husband) fitted our pooch in a costume and it was funny...probably not for him, but we got a kick out of it! My buddy waited patiently for the treats he knew he would be getting after the ordeal.

Trick-or-treat night was postponed in our town and many surrounding communities because of that horrible Superstorm Sandy. I look forward to giving out treats this weekend but we probably won't get too many kids as the number of trick-or-treaters has dwindled in recent years. We had many more little ghosts and goblins back in the day when my kids were growing up.

Have a great day!

Priceless!! I love your costume...that's how I feel some mornings

And yes, the painted toenails are wonderful too.

Years ago we had a cute little Jack Russell dog next door that was extremely shy and timid of anyone except his owners. But on Halloween they dressed him as a dinosaur and he strutted up and down the sidewalk proud as a peacock. When they took the costume off, he was shy again. Dogs "know" and like to have fun too.

Thank you for starting my day with a huge smile.
