Thank You to Cynical One!
I forgot who it was (maybe DollyDo?) who recommended that someone should read Cynical One's blog posts. I've been reading through them the last hour or so... and... WOW WOW WOW so many helpful things to learn there. A goldmine.
So thank you! I didn't want to stop reading, but I have to stop for today. But before I logged out I wanted to say

a lot of your posts have been helpful to me as well. whenever i have my pastor or therapist trying to encourage me to give my husband another chance at reconciliation....or if he tries to beg me for forgiveness or talk about getting help...i just read one of your post cynical and i know that i need to continue to kick him to the curb.
i read what your dealbreakers are and they make so much sense to me....no liars, cheaters in my life!! you cut those people out of your life forever...and you know what? i am dong the same!
i want a better life for me and my son. i am not going to get all weak now!

CO is always right about everything all the time lol
Okay maybe no one is right 100 percent of the time but 99.9 percent of the time at the very least.
Seriously, everything she said about my EXABF happened and when I first read her posts I was like PSH she doesn't know him, only of course she did because she's been there.
It's also 8 AM and I didn't go to bed and have been up 24 hour soo if this post is word vomit forgive me!
Seriously tho this thread is very accurate!

Wait, who is Cynical one??
I used to cringe when I saw she posted on a thread I made...only because I knew she would post something I didn't want to know and would be right!
Thank you CO for all the anxiety causing posts you made to me. lol Your wisdom was not lost on me. It was a tough job getting me out of denial, and you were just the person to do it. P.S. I hope I am not ignore.

i just looked you up Cynical One...and I didnt see your story. you give so much hard advice that effects so many lives on this site, but yet i dont see anything about you.
i saw your blog...your posts (which some i have saved)...and your other links about what we should and shouldnt do which is great..but nothing about you.
are you a recovering addict, sponsor, loved one of an addict?
just curious about the person behind the screen name with all of the hard advice.

Cynical has described herself as a once "Polly Anna" type personality. lol Also, she wrote about her experience with her qualifier in her "Return on My Investment" which is in her blog. It's a great read!!
Sorry CO, no cement for you!!

Thanks CO
((CO)) - You have been a constant source of ES&H on here, and though there are times you post something that makes me say "OUCH!!!!", I know it's because you're right and I'm not quite ready to hear it. In time, I can go back to that very post and hear the wisdom.
Thank you for being a very important part of SR and for all your ES&H.
Hugs and prayers,
Amy

Hey CO - I appreciate you so much too!! Can you believe I went into every single one of your blogs (did now know they existed until this recent thread) - and I downloaded and saved every single one..... many thanks and love to you... I hope sometime down the line my threads / posts contribute to you - even in a tiny way.

Cynical - I thank God everyday for finding the strength to read your posts & blog. Your insight and information not only has given me strength through this treacherous journey but given me the knowledge to speak to my beautiful boys when their world was shattered. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I heart you, Cynical One!
I am so grateful for the no-nonsense advice you give! And many, many thanks for compiling all of those articles on how addiction effects children and families.
I have nothing but respect for you and feel so lucky to have you as a leader in our SR community!
