At ER Again
Stating in ER yet again with my son. Believe the staph infection is back ..if it ever went away. I truly fear it may have affected his nervous system, maybe brain. He is so pitiful, and said he wouldn't do surgery again and carries a "Do not resuscitate" in his wallet.
Symptoms are fever, chills, involuntary leg jerking, nausea, pain in neck, hips, legs, head, ear, feeling of dizziness, blurred vision, and falls asleep every few minutes. I have already called in to be off work tomorrow. This will be another all-nighter.
I'm feeling a little guilty because he wanted me to take him to ER yesterday. I had spent the day withbmynmom who had surgery last week and just couldn't pull an all-nighter last night.
My heart aches to see him like this. He just had a strong jerking spell while sleeping doubled over in a chair. Pray we both get through this tonight. I could not abandon a stranger in this condition.

Washbe2, I'm so sorry that you and your son are going through this. I'm glad that you are with him and giving him support in this desperate time. I pray that he will pull through, and that these dire circumstances will be the catalyst that makes him willing and able to pursue recovery.

There are online prayer groups, that I have found very effective. People around the world will pray for you. Unity is one (pun
!).
Praying for you and your son and if you get a chance, post a prayer for him online and hundreds, if not thousands of people will pray for you and your son. (There are many groups - I like Unity- it's really easy to post prayers there).

Sending healing thoughts and prayers. Make sure they check him for
dehydration as if the infection is raging there is a good chance he is
dehydrating and he will also become delusional. I know I did when I
had an infection and didn't know it.
I have also added you and your son to the 3 prayer lists that I belong
