It won't even load windows, and this is after my bank account was $300 lighter post-repairs recently (new hard drive, power supply, data retrieval, reinstall windows). I need to call support today with my internet provider to get my password so I can use my laptop in the interim. I'm on Amber's laptop where she babysits at right now. If I'm gone for a few days, you will know why.
It's a Dell Vostro, purchased in '08 for college. I have to call tech support at ATT (my internet provider) and find out what the heck my password is so I can get online via the laptop my brother recently gave me. I just hate talking to someone in India that I can barely understand. Ugh.
Tell them you are HARD OF HEARING and OLD and that they MUST SPEAK SLOWLY.
That usually works for me, roflmao Have to remind them sometimes to speak SLOWER but I can at least understand them.

May I say with no shame that the computer store can kiss my lily white a$$ and I will file a report with the BBB. They said no warranties on work done past 30 days and I would have to pay 49.99 for a diagnostic. I think NOT.
The good news is the laptop is online and I didn't have to deal with tech support either! I'm back over on Amber's laptop because she took the youngest to get a hair cut and I'm watching the other kiddo.
Now to work on the potential resentment towards a certain computer repair store!

Maybe you can call Microsoft. Tell them it's a virus or a windows problem and they will take over your computer and fix all the bugs if you have a nice person. If not, hang up and try again!!
