My RAH is on his 22nd day!

just wanna share that my RAH is now on his 22nd day of being sober. On his own. I have learned and still learning my own recovery. I still read and will never stop reading codependency. Such a BIG step, AND a BIG HELP. Thanks for all our friends who have suggested such good reading materials. Hat's Off!

That is very good news for your Husband Mayan !!

One foot in front of another.... 22 days in a row is a big accomplishment.

Thanks for sharing. My husband has been off drugs for 6 years.... it happens !

For the shortest time that I was here, I was always looking for "a miracle story" that somehow happened. I am very happy to know that your husband is "off" it for 6 years. I pray that this'll be a continous road for recovery, both for me and my husband. God bless you! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you KnBlueSkys. You gave me hope that the addict I know and love can keep clean. All I have been hearing is that they never stay clean for long. Thanks to you, I know this doesn't have to be the truth for everyone.

Of course it doesn't have to be the truth for everyone....just go to any of the thousands of NA or AA meetings across the country. In any one of those rooms you will find many people with several years of sobriety. Their stories are always very enlightening and if you haven't gone to an open meeting, you definitely should. I especially like the "speaker nights".

Thank you guys so much for sharing stories of recovery. I know I'm just beginning this journey (as a mom of AS) but I need to see lights at the end of this long tunnel. We all need hope1
