So, I was back and forth about going to my alanon meeting tonight (knowing deep down that I needed to go) and had decided that I would skip it tonight. Well, I must say that god works in a funny way cause my fiancée and I ended up getting into an argument and he says to me "You should go to your meeting" so naturally this irritated me but I got up, got my keys and I left.

I know that this was gods way of telling me that I've made a commitment to myself and I need to stick to it. Now I'm sitting in my car, taking a moment to enjoy the peace and quite before I go back home and I thought of you guys and just thought I'd share my eventful evening with you

Good for you for making the meeting. I almost bailed on my Nar-anon meeting last night- seems like it's when I least feel like going that I most need a meeting. Funny how that works. However, like you, I ended up going and I was so glad I did.
