I'm so so sorry to hear what happened to your daughter last night, so glad she had the strength and courage to report and I hope that disgusting creature who violated her so badly is locked up to rot.

prayers (((freedom))) this is just horrifying.
cannot believe someone just out of prison, can make bail on rape charges. what the he!! is going on in our judicial system?
Thank God she is alive, and she will get through this. She has a great support system, and a smart mama. sending wishes for peace for your heart mama, and healing for your daughter.

Today marks 22 years clean/sober for me, and July marked 13 years active in Alanon/codependency recovery.
I am so incredibly grateful that recovery has helped me get through some very difficult periods, including this latest horrendous event.
Recovery is possible. You just have to want it with all your heart.
AD is working today, and will be seeing her therapist tomorrow. The pain from her physical wounds seems to be finally easing up.
Again, thanks to all for your prayers and kind thoughts. I have no doubt that this wonderful support from all of you is helping both AD and me begin to heal from this.

I am so sorry that this has happen. I hope that justice is done and they put this guy away for many years.
Used to live in Salina and Kansas used to be really a strong state as far as Law and Order, can't believe they allowed him out on bail. Just keep your faith that your daughter will have the justice she deserves.
