I have been packing getting ready for my move I am not sure why but I wasn't expecting all these emotions from simply packing. My move out date is August 1st. I am handling the emotions OK yet am wondering if this, is another roller coaster ride that is too be expected?

((((Crazybabie)))) Of course, sweetie!! A separation, move and starting a new life.... heck yes some strong emotions are bound to bubble up! Allow yourself to feel 'em, cry if you feel the urge, and take it slow.... it's not only an emotional stressor, but a physical one as well. I moved back in May and I swear I'm still not over it yet!

I thought he had taken all his things but he had left behind Fathers Days cards from our daughter that I know meant a lot to him at least at one point I also found stuff of my AS that is in prison and my other AS who has not lived with me for 2 years. I was just expecting to be finding my stuff only, I suppose it would still stir emotions even if only mine

Yes, of course!! No matter what things were like before, there was familiarity, some comfort. Now everything will be changing. It is overwhelming. You are doing great, it is hard going through this.

I experienced something similar. I had gone through so much chaos, unhappiness, and abuse that in a million years I never thought that I would be anything but GLAD after leaving my husband.

It's been a real roller coaster though - and I just didn't expect that at all. It does get better though.
