Did anyone watch...
Did anyone watch Dr. Phil yesterday. I am not a big fan of his but I do like him at times.
Anyway, the subject was beauty queen to heroin/meth addict. This young girl (21) was so sick -mind, body and soul - from drugs.
But almost as bad was how sick with denial, sick with enabling, and a disgusting sense of self-centeredness the mother demonstrated.
We may not cause it but boy can we contribute to it. I hope it was a wake up call to all of us who enable.

No, didn't see that show. But boy do I know about how sick the enabler can be (XH, son's bio father). Crazy, disgusting, infuriating. As I've said before, I can't spend much time thinking about it and must release it to my Higher Power.
