How often do you hear from them by phone call, visits and/or letters?
Right now I go down there to visit him once a week. I haven't even been told his release date yet and hes been locked up a few weeks. My brother called me a few times right after he got locked up. Then the calls have suddenly stopped. No letters as of yet though he promised to send me one

Is this the same guy you sometimes refer to as a brother, who is actually FWB's?
In any case, if you are putting money on his account when you visit him weekly, why would he need to write or call you? He already gets what he wants.
