I don't really have any opinions on this matter...therapists are vastly different in how they practice. I do have a question out of curiosity though, if he was talking with you at a restaurant, how does he uphold confidentiality laws? I guess he wouldn't be liable if you agreed to it, but that just strikes me as odd.

I am glad you liked your second session with him. Hopefully you don't have to go back!
