Hi
I have a friend that is addicted to sleeping pills and I don't know how to help her. I met her through a chatroom so I don't know anyone that I could tell that would be able to help her. I'm really worried about her as she self harms aswell. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to help her?

No, I haven't met her but we met through a depression chat room as we both suffer from it and I've been trying to give her advice on some of her problems and she seems pretty genuine

The best advice you can give her is to see a professional. You're not a therapist or a doctor so you can't handle this for her. It's great that she feels she can talk to you but she needs help IRL.
