OT: Waiting on tornadoes
Chino "I had to search, see if anything similar has ever happened and yes, it has! Last fall, a canon lens fell from the sky and through a residential roof in CA. Some estimates had it's speed at over 200 mph. "
I hadn't even thought to search for similar happenings. Wow! I had changed lens in air and wondered if I didn't have it locked on well enough. 200 mpr. Yikes! Could have been horrible!

kmangel, how are you all doing? Everyone OK?
I've been reading every bit of day after coverage, and been talking non stop about it, too. I think I'm still reeling a little from that one moment of fear when the storm roared in.

Chino, I am so glad that you are safe and did not get pummeled by tornadoes. it is hard to look at the damage they caused and understand how devastating it is...how your life switches in a minute.
just so glad that you are not caught in that.
peace.
