I'm new to this site and i can't stop crying when i read these posts. My daughter is a lead singer in a band and is addicted to heroin. She came to us and admitted to it and put herself into rehab. (3 months) This was about 4 yrs ago. She needed to continue being in the band (her boyfriend is the lead guitar) to make a living. To make a long story short, she went to a Dr. and got suboxone. She has been on that and also stopped singing for about a year. They got the band going again because they need the money. As her mother, she seems so distant from me. I have three daughters and so clung to me as a child but now (she is 35) she is just distant and very private. I know she is still on suboxone but she is not in any meetings (for about 2years). I need to know what i can do. I feel hopeless. I'm just so afraid that her emotions have not been dealt with even though she is not doing the heroin. thanks for listening.
