I really think I am losing it. I woke up shaking in the middle of the night. I am going to seek help today. Thanks for everyones candidness. I cry uncontrollably. I am a astrong person. This really sucks.

I think I read it here, but there is a saying that crying is not a weakness...it is a sign that we have been too strong for too long.

I know it's uncomfortable, but you may be right where you need to be in recovery for a change to occur. It was for me. It didn't cure me, but I came out of it different and with acceptance and wisdom that I can only change me.

You know how in some religions, you can purify things with salt water? It washes away evil and dispels negativity. The same goes for tears - they help wash away the pain and the hurt.

But yes, sometimes we do need a guide to get us through it. You are very strong - and sometimes that means going to someone and telling them "I don't know how to do this".

You are on your way to a life washed clean. Don't give up. We are all rooting for you!
