Well as many as you know...my spouse was "dragging his heels" about kicking our 21 year old AS out...But after many months (years)...things went from bad to worse (he was stealing from my spouse) and he finally had had it...I was ready years ago...but he wasn't or couldn't...So out he went on Saturday morning...he has lots of friends and a fancy car (I call it his house on wheels)...but no job or $$$...He is resourceful and will survive...
Only wish it would of happened sooner...Really peaceful here though ....

(((WIWorrier))) - YAY on a united front in dealing with your son's addiction! I'm glad you are finally able to enjoy some peace in your own home I doubt the fancy car will last long, but you are right - he is resourceful, and he will survive.

I hear you on the peaceful , my son is in rehab and i feel such peace that sometimes a little guilt creeps in but i dont let it drag me down too much , good luck

Good for you...and better opportunity for your son to possibly hit bottom sooner...if he ever does. I am glad you have some peace. I did a thorough cleaning and re-decorated with new little things like throw pillows in happy colors...but I still miss my son and wish all the bad stuff never happened. Enjoy your home.
