Hi! I didn't take the time to read all the responses, but was pleasantly surprised to see how many responded so quickly!! I did read what Atalose wrote about what an addict does. It fell along the same lines that I was going to say when I first read your post. I am in recovery for alcohol and perscription drug abuse so I can honestly say that when you confront him all he will hear is accusations and will come up with all kinds of excuses and promises. You cannot and will not change him until he is willing to change. Do look into al-anon.

Steve, what you say about the drama and chaos is so true.
And Dolly is right, they will only hear accusations, you cannot change them. That is something they must do.
This site is wonderful, glad you found it.
