Does anyone in this forum use instant messengers like AIM, ***** messenger, MSN messenger, ICQ, etc?

I love this forum but sometimes I need to have a real-time conversation. So if anyone here uses instant messaging and would like to chat from time to time, please let me know. I have AIM, but I can download the others if needed.

There are chat rooms right here on SR! I've agreed to meet someone in the friends and family chat room before. It is an open chat room so others may join in but once you're in you are able to have a side conversation with the person you agreed to meet that would not be seen by the others in the chat room. Does that make sense?

Try it and see if that works for you. All you have to do is agree to meet someone in there!

I've had the same thought about the chat thing... I've popped in to the chat room here but no one is ever in the Friends and Family section when I've gone in (maybe its me lol). Sometimes its nice to have a back and forth conversation.
