Oops, wrong number!

Apparently my 33-year-old AD has more than one "Amber" in her cell phone contacts.

She inadvertently called her younger sister.

Amber told her she wasn't interested in buying any Lortabs (which was the reason for the call), and that she obviously had called the wrong number.

I suppose it would be too much to hope that AD was embarrassed as hell.

Nah, she'll just pop a few Xanax to mellow out.

Gads, what a way to live.

I'm incredibly grateful for my life and all its blessings today!

Yes you iz a smarty pants...and now you have papers! lol Congrats (((Freedom)))

I don't think I've become indifferent, as much as I know what addiction brings. If I hear of what goes on, I'm no longer surprised. I'm just grateful I'm no longer in the mess of it.

(((DeVon))) - glad you didn't let it bother you. It is sad that she's still doing the same old **** but very glad you and ((Amber)) don't have a front row seat to it any more.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

You would think after all this time, she'd just lose the number, but I guess to an active addict denial will never let them hit <delete>.

So now you got book learnin' to go with all your street smarts. What's next, field research on how many sets of toes a puppy will lick in direct relation to the color of one's favorite sandals??

I would so volunteer for that study
