Today is the day..
Today is the day that things change for me. I am very new here and only in the past couple days started posting. I have been struggling for years with my AH and through it all I love him. But today is the day I make a change. The change in our relationship begins with me. I dont expect miracles and I know I will slip at times. However, this ends for me today. I will control myself and do everything in my power to stay safe, healthy, happy and in control. I have choices and although Im not sure what they are at this point, they are mine to own. Today the focus is on me. Hello me! Dont think Ive met you before!

Wow angie4. That is some powerful statements. Way to go, taking responsibility for yourself. You do deserve it & doing that will help you to have healthier relationships all around. Good luck to you with beginning your fresh new journey of life.

I really appreciate being able to come here and read the beautiful posts. I came feeling kind of down tonight, but my spirits were lifted once again reading the many wonderful supportive and positive posts. Thanks everyone!
