My AH is currently in jail gets out tomorrow, I made him leave on the 20th. I was told by him a liar of course that he had be sober since I made him leave. When he goes to jail I got his phone etc. in which I have been paying for and I went through it and sure enough on the 2nd he bought some pills from a so-called friend of mine. Any way along with finding this out his phone was full of online porn and pictures of other women so when he called I confronted him on this and he said he didn't want to hide anything anymore. he of course also said he was sorry ya right. Anyway he has stated that he is gonna do whatever he needs to do to get better, we have been going throught this for 5 years now and I said to him I have heard this a million times. His reply was I know it's time I show you instead of talking about it. I am trying to be civil because we do have children but I REFUSE to be around drinking and using PERIOD. Any suggestions? He does not have a key to my house I changed the locks on the 7th of April and took him back on the 9th did not give him a key and he pulled his crap again on the19th so on the 20th of April I made him leave. He is doing 5 days in the county and on the 26th of this month he goes back to court for a state vop and is gonna get at least probably 4 years he is on probation for 13 years and looking at some time this is alot of charges real close together. I am staying strong for me and the kids and my only time to release my feelings are here so I'm sorry for taking so long and vented but you guys and God are all I have because I can't talk to anyone in my hometown because he has a reputation irregardless of what he does he is respected or affilated so I'm kinda stcuck. Please help me with advice. He has not paid any bills in over 5 months at all including the car he drives in my name I pay the car payment and insurance and he has no money ever which of course I know where it goes which is why I finally made him leave.

Since the car is in your name and you pay for it, seems kind of foolish to lend it to someone with nothing to lose. No reason to open your door to him. You are not responsible for housing him. He'll figure out something else. Stick to your boundary. The rest will take care of itself.
