Frustrating!!!

I have totally cut my 20 yr old AS off financially. I have been giving him 10 here and 20 there. I am no longer giving him a dime.. Today he is being relentless with texting me about putting 20.00 in his account, more relentless than he has ever been. Begging me... please mom I can pass a drug test please I want to go "chill" with my friends.....

ARGH I am mad at him right now! I called him and told him to STOP texting me I WILL NOT give him money... Tod him to put his energy into finding a job and working his program.

Tough Love is just that TOUGH!!!!

Yes, it can be, but when we have had enough, it gets easier. The more you refuse to give in, the easier it will be for you, and the less frequently they will ask. Stand your ground.

I recently told
both of my sons
that the Bank of Moose

is closed.

You can block him from texting you, I believe.

Hugs and hugs........

You are doing the right thing here. Nobody should get a stipend for "Extended Studies in Stupidity".

Honeslty, I think so... In the past I have been like NO son dont pawn your stuff and I would give him $10.00, but I have not done that for quite some time now. He has actually already pawned his bow and paint ball gun and who knows what else... Now that I think about it more.... My parents who always SAVE him are out of town so that probably has alot to do with it.

My daughter pawned everything she owned..generally people do not pawn items so they can go to the movies or "chill"..feeling the consequences of the addiction includes losing your stuff..
