I went to my first meeting. I will keep going back. I felt ok at moments but awkward at the end. Everyone knew each other and I did not. I was scared to even say my name but I did. I got my book and I will read a passage everyday. 1st step let's get r' done.

Now that you have attended your first meeting, you never have to feel nervous about attending that first meeting again! I totally agree that in no time at all you will feel right at home and you'll wonder why it ever felt awkward. Way to go!!

Thank you everyone. My AH is really working on himself.
Having nothing to do with him I have to work on myself.
Today I read about releasing my will; I am letting go of my need to be in control.
I am going to focus on being positive and let my higher power guide me.
