My Valentine Wishes for All You Dear Friends May You Always Feel Loved~
May you find serenity and tranquility
in a world you may not always
understand.
May the pain you have known
and the conflict you have experienced
give you the strength to walk through life
facing each new situation
with optimism and courage.
Always know that there are those
whose love and understanding will always
be there, even when you feel most alone.
May you discover enough goodness in others
to believe in a world of peace.
May a kind word, a reassuring touch,
a warm smile be yours every day of your life,
and may you give these gifts as well as receive them.
Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending.
Teach love to those who know hate, and let that love
embrace you as you go into the world.
May the teaching of those you admire
become part of you, so that you may
call upon them.
Remember, those whose lives you have touched
and who have touched yours are always a part of you,
even if the encounters were less than
you would have wished.
May you not become too concerned
with material matters, but instead place
immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart.
Find time in each day to see the beauty

Realize that each person has limitless abilities,

I really do love each one of you, it is because you have walked with me for so long that my life is beautiful today.

Incidentally, I am so excited I love horses and Mr. Dev bought me two for Valentine's Day. What a guy! He sure knows how to treat a lady!
Oh, I'm sorry didn't mean to mislead you, they were saw horses. You know the ones you use when you're building things or cutting plasterboard. LOL
Oh well, beats a gift centered around the kitchen!

Dev, you did it again, cracking me up.
I remember one Mother's Day I asked Mr. Ann for "something for the garden", thinking of flowers that would last all summer instead of a week. I had a pretty Niagara Rose in mind.
He bought me 5 bags of dirt. Now it wasn't your ordinary dirt, nope, it was special 3-dirt dirt, perfect for gardens it said.
Happy Valentines, Dev. Love means finding romance in saw horses and dirt.

OMG, Ann, that was hysterical! I thought it was only Mr. Dev that did things like that! I'm still laughing at that one.
I remember our very first Xmas together. He came in with this huge box, heavy too! I couldn't imagine what it was. He was grinning from ear to ear because he was so pleased with himself.
When I opened it, and found a MEAT SLICER, I just about killed him. Especially me since I haven't cooked since the dog pee'd on my meatloaf! If I had my way I'd turn the kitchen into a walk-in closet!
