someone in alanon said this, and it described it perfectly for me...it takes time to move from your head to your heart. i knew what needed to be done, and i truly believed it was the right thing, and so i had faith and did it. but it took a long time for my heart to catch up. now, my head and my heart and pretty in sync.
it's like if you had a dabetic that kept wanting you to supply them with candy..you may feel sorry for them, want them to be happy, et, but you know it is not what they need.that's another thing i learned at my daughters rehab..what she wants and what she needs are two entirely different things..
keep working your program an the shift will come as they say..more will be revealed
