Enjoy Florida! I had a one week trip during the holidays, and came back balanced. I can't imagine what I could accomplish with three months!
When exah was in jail, I gave what I could, when I felt comfortable doing it. I'm learning to listen to that little voice inside (which BTW you helped me with), which tells me what feels ok, and what doesn't.
I'm glad one story had a semi-happy ending, and I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I think he's out, a personal bond, but anyway, she filed a protection order..
Altho' we all know how those help, but it may deter him, and once again the no contact rule between both of them is to be enforced.

Mom hugs, my friend. I hate that your boys are taking the longer road on their journey. All we can pray is that their HP keeps them safe and puts the right people in their path.
As for sending money to your son? I agree with the others that we do what we can live with. He's in a clean environment and it makes you feel like you're supporting his recovery a bit....
I love that you are running away to FL, but I hate that we'll pass each other on the trip. Love to you and Mr. Moose too.

Glad she filed to order - more than anything - it's a message that his behavior is unacceptable
AND I"m really glad you are hanging around with us again - cause everything I read your post and read your signature I think of Shrek, Donkey & Dragon -
and I hear Eddie Murphy saying "Oh you're a GIRL Dragon"
which for some reason makes all my grandkids do that fun belly laugh!!!!!!!
the belly laugh - the one that comes from deep down - pure enjoyment - I could just bottle that laugh up and listen to it hours after hours!!!!
Makes me forget my life was ever darken by this disease!!!!!!!
