book pill head
 

before my meeting last night I went to the library to get books on co-dependency. in the new section was a book "pill head" written by joshua lyon.
I read a few pages and thought wow this is interesting. I read more of it last night and thought I would share with you all that reading this has given me more insight about prescription pain med addiction. It goes into detail what it does to the addict, what the DEA and other organizations are doing about this problem too. There are also alot of studies conducted too which was shocking to me to read. It also explains the brain chemistry.It is well written by Joshua and he also tells of other friends using the pills either famous or not. I am not that far yet in the book, but thought I would mention this to you all as I recommend reading it.
