Starburst

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about

Impurrfect

Thanks ((Mamm)) - I had this on a keychain, when I was still going through nursing school after mom died. I wore that keychain out, I looked at it so often I then typed it up on a pretty piece of paper and framed it.

I recently found the framed one in my storage shed and it's on my wall. It's gotten me through some pretty tough times.

I have the entire poem framed on my wall, too! I read it in grade school and it's always stuck with me. It's saved me from implosion a few times
