I note that most of these posts say "I'm sorry..."

No critique intended; how inadequate we are.

I cannot add another "I'm sorry." You and your son have touched another, however. Is that adequate? No.

I am a parent of three who has faced no such thing. That is as it should be, isn't it? There is no "should be."

I cannot grasp your pain. Your lack of understanding. As it should be...

Still warm from a hug. No. Not as it should be.

I'm sorry. There, I've said it. How inadequate.

This disease...takes so much from so many...just devastating...I pray he's at peace now, after his long struggle with addiction. I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm new here and this is sobering to say the least. As a mother of a heroin addict who constantly struggles with the disease I can only begin to imagine how you feel. I am truly sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you.

There are no words suitable for a mother who has lost her precious child. So me saying I'm sorry isn't going to change anything. Just know that we are all here for you Stephanie with open hearts and open arms. I too have an addict son, and it breaks my heart. I fear, what your living. My heart aches for you. Big time. :ghug3
