Ot and a little fun
One of my gf's called today and invited me to join 11 other girls in a limo to the opening of "Sex in the City". Sounds like fun..but the punch line is to dress like one of the characters in the movie. I need some ideas for an outfit that isn't too off the wall. This will be fun but its a bunch of 50/60 year olds...watch out Buffalo..LOL
doesn't CARRIE often wear a flower in her hair?
It seems in the 2 movies, the characters are WAY glammed up with designer clothes compared to the TV show.
I'd Wear a short red wig and go as the Cynthia Nixon character- less pressure
Go as Carrie if you want center stage

After its over I will figure out how to post pics. I have one in my site here and haven't a clue how I moved it from pics to here. LOL I do have fun thou!!! How do you like Louisiana....we do have to fihure out where to retire too..The winters are way too cold here all the time and my boys and the grandkids know this is coming within the next 2 years...
can't wait to see photos!!
well - I'm an army brat - lived in several different places until I was about 8 - but I really love Louisiana.
It has it's draw backs - the heat & humidity - but if you are an outdoors type person ~ it's the best.
We usually don't see a lot of cold weather - a few months in Dec & Jan - mostly it's HOT & HUMID - but that's ok - makes that swimming in the pool or river nice. Lots of tasty foods, fresh veggies and friendly people.
Anyway - I like it - but afterall - who doesn't love their homestate - right?
