One minute at a time
My AD is visiting and I'm taking a minute to escape the vicious tongue and mild chaos. Because I can do this one minute at a time.
Heavily medicated on prescription drugs, I say black and she says white - every time I open my mouth.

Someone in Al-Anon told me not to take everything the adict says personally, and that I didn't have to go to every argument I was invited to. I have been where you are with my AD. You will get through this.
