I am feeling better and thank you everyone 
cece was right about just explaining and expressing it. Holding all that in wasn't doing me any DAM good and I can even smile about waterlogged analogies today.
We've had a few light showers since the flood and a few more on the way. I'm glad for them because they figuratively and literally wash away the residue.

We're still so saturated that this deluge is rolling on the ground like it's paved, and causing problems with clean up. I think I'm starting to get PO'd and might go outside, scream at the sky. Then again, there's lightning so maybe I'll wait a little...

anvil I thought about you tonight when I suddenly decided to go 4 wheeling in all the mud. My husband is going to have a cow when he sees my truck in a few hours but hey, at least I had some fun with this disaster

Do any of you remember being so happy and relieved when your addict went to rehab? How some people couldn't understand your happiness? I had another one of those moments yesterday when I discovered my foundation took a small hit from the flooding rains. My survivor guilt is gone, I have insurance, and my friends with survivor guilt were happy for me LOL!
