To those who are RA and help us here
There are some of you recovering addicts who bless us with your wisdom from the "other side" - especially those of you who have had family who lovingly stepped away and let you fall.
Have you considered writing for "Stories of Recovery"? There was a time when i tried to find RAs who had family who practiced loving detachment, but I could not find any. I wanted to hear how that kind of loving detachment impacted their journey into and out of addiction (negative or positive). But i could never find anyone - it seems that their family remained enabling or angrily distant.
So that is why I ask if any of you have considered writing to that forum because I know some of you have had family who lovingly detached. And I know that if I was looking for that in a story of recovery then other family members were/are looking for it too.
