Book "The Cure"
I believe this book is from The Sinclair Method, and simply, it is about taking a drug that one takes when one wants to drink and then either they don't or they don't enjoy it when they do.
It is highly controversial (hope we don't get into debates here), and from what I have seen, read and heard, is not effective, at least not for hard core alcoholics. It appeals to many because it condones drinking while you try to get sober but to most it's just another way to try the easy way and fail.

And just for the record, and because we've had problems with posts here from people from their site...SoberRecovery is about recovery and does not condone any program that supports drinking while trying to get sober.
That doesn't mean you can't read or discuss the book. But please review and remember the rules when doing so.
Thanks

THE CURE FOR ALCOHOLISM offers readers something never before brought to bookshelves--a medically proven method that, for the first time, cures a once-thought incurable addiction that kills or harms millions of people every year. The treatment is so powerful that addictive drinking and alcohol cravings automatically fade away--not through will power, abstinence or traditional rehab--but through continued drinking while simultaneously taking a non-addictive, safe, approved medication.
