Last night's first meeting was very successful Thanks to Endzoner for organising it, and to DecBaby for hosting it.

The SR chat has an Alanon Room that's available to F&F 24/7. The other rooms are mainly used by recovering addicts, though we do get a fair share of F&F regular users who share there too... needless to say, everyone is more than welcome to use those rooms as well. The SR chatroom is very valuable for both recovering addicts and for friends and family of addicts alike; our interaction is very worthwhile and relevant towards our common goal of addressing addiction.

Thank you for supporting the F&F meeting We hope more members will decide to give it a try next Saturday. If you have any comments or questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with a Chatroom Monitor.

I tried to join, but am having issues with the chats. Anyone else having troubles? Won't let me type anything and I am unable to scroll to choose a room.

I have a Mac....does this make a difference?

Sofacat you may want to PM Mattcake79 or Endzoner. They are wonderful chat monitors and may be able to help you out. I'm afraid I am chat-challenged, lol I hope you can get it straightened out.

hi Sofa yah it tried to chat at you , mac i have no knowledge on . but you have un updated java ? thats the only thing i know that mite hinder it , im sure someone will follow thu , mattys better at that stuff .. ill send him here when he gets on

Hey endzoner...

I saw you trying to greet Me, but the type box on my screen wasn't working! I panicked cause I couldn't do anything!!! I didn't want you to think I was a lurker LOL!!!

I'm going to Google Java on Mac. I think it's my settings, but not sure how to correct it.
It does this when I try to put pictures on my FB page sometimes too. Computer gets all waunkee!

So, if anybody notices me enter the chats, leave the chats, enter the chats, say nothing, leave the chats....I assure you I am not shy...heh heh* I'll be trying to get my settings right so I can join in next week!

I did clear my history, and caches...I'm gonna see if that helped.

Problem solved.

I can only use Safari for Mac for this.

I was using Firefox before and it was not working for that application.

So, if anyone else has a Mac and is using Firefox and has the same issue....switch to Safari and everything will work fine.
