I'm done with it

Has anyone ever experienced their A chomping down and making a noise when their teeth hit like all the time? What makes them do that? What are they on? My AH came over tonight and was chomping his teeth and kind of hyper. It drove me nuts. Thankfully, he went back "home" to his mom's house.

It could be anything but most likely speed or some kind of amphetamine.

Yea I would guess it's meth. Very common with meth, it's called bruxism.

I think it's because your adrenalin is so high, they say it is because you
are paranoid, but even when I wasn't, when I tried to act normal, or calm
myself down I could feel my jaw clench.

My A used to do that occasionally when he was high on coke.
I've seen a few people gurn with their mouths too.

It's horrible.

This is second nature to me and I do not use any drugs, prescribed or otherwise.

I am quite a sight, when I do this, so I have been told.

Yea I did it before meth also, I have horrible TMJ. Meth made it worse.

I used to wear night guards, or I was supposed to.

don't know much about anything other than coke/crack, and it sounds like it could be that too. i think in time you'll know what you need to know so keep the focus on you.

Thanks for all your responses. I think he is usually on coke but he could be using other stuff, too. And I noticed a chemical smell from his nose when he tried to kiss me (ugh!) Along with all that he was kind of hyper and paranoid but trying not to be, if you know what I mean. I just never noticed him chomping before.

And Teke, thank you for the reminder to keep the focus on me.

Def. sounds like meth to me. Your adrenalin in overdrive, you smell because the chemicals are coming out of your body. Most likely if it's meth he'll go down fast. My roommate was doing coke and thought he could do meth like coke, and ohhhhhhhhhhhh, did he lose his little mind......

I would keep the focus on you, but I would not want a meth addict around me.
Well I couldn't be around one, ha ha, but remembering how I started to think
at the end, and what I've seen others do....... It's a wacked drug, called the
devils drug for a reason.

Make sure you are safe girl, gonna be worried about you if you don't!
