For over a year, I have been living with an addict. The time came for a mental hospital and the promise of rehab. (did I mention promise of rehab?) Finally after all this time, I found out that even when he does not use, he drinks and there have been "women". He has been gone for over a week (my choice) and I am not looking back. I am taking care of myself and my two children and that is all I need. I have a great family, WONDERFUL friends and a desire to live a happy and fulfilled life DRAMA FREE. He called to get some papers the other day (ones I know he can reprint) and I left it outside with all my doors LOCKED. I know how that has ended in the past and I was not letting it happen again. I am done for me, my children and my own well being. I have chemotherapy in my future and need my strength for ME. Happy days to come..........
