They do NOT take care of their medical issues, Splendra.
He has never had his medical care been taken care of, as I've stated here and over in many posts. The "doctors" should be charged with malpractice, and instead are protected by the state. We would have to charge the state - and to do so, we need the state's permission to sue them! Yes, that is the way this system works! You need the permission of the state to sue the state! Figure that one!
So, they can continue to do nothing.

I've written Kennedy. I was just advised to write Senator Reed. I will do so. And I'll let you know what happens.

Hello-kitty, I do understand your frustration. Please try to hear mine too. My son's life is at stake, because his kidneys have failed multiple times. And the prison will do nothing about it. His appointment with the specialist is next month - in about 27 days. I don't have time to play with their nonsense. They really don't care if he lives or dies.
I do.

Thank you all for understanding the need for dual treatment.
And bless you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Shalom!

My daughter has Hep C. and starting treatments. Last week she missed another court date for driving on a suspended license and we bailed her out (she did pay us back). No way we were leaving her in there, didn't even give a moments thought about it.

It's serious stuff and you all are in my prayers.

Teach,

I do understand. Far better than is comfortable, y'know?
I am on the soapbox right with you on this.
The system as it operates in reality is insane.

Unfortunately as you also know all too well, the educational system is now failing,
the justice system...on and on and on.....

I know the fear of losing a son also. It is horror, knowing what you know and not being able to stop it and fix what needs to be.

Just my way of doing things...but I wouldn't stop at one letter. I would email. I would phone. I would pull out all the stops.
How about a letter to the editor of regional papers?
Even a sensational tabloid? Reader's digest?
Call the local tv stations. Email them. Write them.

Blitzkrieg!

You see, I absolutely believe you when you say Trevor's life is at stake and there isn't the luxury of time to change the system. All you can do is make his life the issue and get it out far and wide to anyone and everyone, so that it becomes an issue for the institution to sweep up and gloss over...as we know it will.....

All my prayers to your G*d of belief and to my own beliefs for a quick and safe resolution for Trevor's appropriate health care.
Because of his mental health issues, is it possible that he could be moved to a mental institution in lieu of prison?
