OMG OMG OMG!!!!!
I just found out in the last hour that I got APPROVED for my loan modification. I get to keep my house .... our family home, that we have lived in for 8 years .... built from the ground up!
OMG!!!! You have no idea how grateful I am that I do not have to uproot my children or move away from my parents (who are literally down the street).
I just had to share with you guys- because I shared my worries and concerns about my house over time.... and my prayers have been answered!
I have put so MUCH love and energy into my home.... power of positive thinking!
I'm bouncing off the walls..... I literally don't know what to do with myself. I'm here in my hotel room (business trip).... in 1 hour I go down to meet everyone.... I gotta find my zen before I attend.
BUT I had to post here and let ya'll know!

In 2004... I bought the boy's father (exh) - out of the house.... gave him half the equity.... right at the PEAK of the market! Needless to say, he got a LOT of cash! The only way I could do it was by doing a neg am loan.... well...... 3 years later..... my house dropped down in value over half of what it was appraised at 3 years prior. Yeah... so I was over 150% upside down!
I feel badly (guilty) to be a part of this "crowd" ....... but hot dayum I'm grateful for Obama! AND my bank for working with me!
My home WAS going up for Public Sale on October 22nd!!!!!!!
Holy moly...... I feel as though the Heavens have opened up and are pouring down so much grace.... I can hardly stand it!

You have to be in a 31%-38% dti in order to qualify.... I came in at 37.7% !!! I just scraped by... and OMG... am I ever so grateful!!!!
My mom helps out so much with the boys and I also do caregiving of my dad who is in congestive heart failure...... so it's a WIN WIN for EVERYONE!

Just got back from a fantastic evening! Rubbed some elbows with some real "doers" in this world........ and for the first time in awhile I was sincerely holding my head up HIGH!!!!

Seriously - it took almost a year to play my cards right ... to meet the requirements... to follow procedure.... to be patient at the right times..... to have FAITH ...... and here it is folks.......... I did DO it! I did it for my boys, my folks and for me!!!!
KNOWING I have *for sure* shelter is the biggest relief.... I can't tell you just how much!!!! I'm totally ecstatic!

I'm thrilled for you too, and can hear your happiness all the way to Canada. 
I think recovery helps us in all areas of our lives. It helps us find the courage to do what we need to do to survive, and you are living proof that life really can get better when we do our part and leave the rest to God (and the banks, lol)

Isn't recovery great! In my life, my HP always has a better plan for me than I could imagine.
