Just a little update on my brother, he made his one year mark on Oct 4th, 7 months of this year was in a rehab and jail he got out of jail and put himself into residential rehab for 4 months and how he is in a place that is the next step up from a halfway house but not a sober house yet, 3/4 house i think he said, he can stay there up to 3 years. He is doing very good, hes healthy, happy (except he cant find a job) and CLEAN AND SOBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to ur brother!!!! every minute, hour, day, week, month sober or drug free is worth it! He will feel better with time, soon he will find a job!

((Nichole)) that is fantastic!!! Jobs are hard to find, these days. I have 2, need to seriously get rid of one, and find a replacement but have been looking forever.

I know, though, that as long as I hold on to my recovery, my chances are pretty good that something will come along.

I'm so glad you checked in and things are going good for your brother. I know that YOU have to be feeling a bit better, too

Sounds like your brother has put a lot of work into his recovery and is reaping the benefits. Tough times in the job market - he isn't alone, but I'm sure as he keeps making good choices, things will fall in place. Hope you are doing well too!
