My Mom Died Last Night
 

I knew this day would come - they say her kidney's failed in her sleep - likely from all her years of drug use.

She had gotten worse than ever this last year.

I am so numb right now - such mixed emotions: guilt, sadness, relief

I wonder if she felt alone when she died or if she thought nobody loved her.

I wish someone could tell me what I'm supposed to feel like right now.

Not going to tell you how to feel, simply tell you I'm sorry for your loss.

My thoughts go out to you.

oh my, kimm, i'm so sorry, i pray right now that your hp will comfort you and your family. i pray that she is at peace now, she is in a better place. i know this can't be much comfort to you right now but i do believe that our addicts deep inside know that they are loved..

god, what else can i say other than you are loved and i will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers.

I am so sorry Kim...we are here with you in spirit and heart. Don't think you have to feel any way, just the way you feel is all you need do. You might have mixed emotions for awhile, just know it is all normal.
