Yes, Ann, thank you for this thread. It brought a smile and warm fuzzies to my heart tonight.
I'm putting on my party hat (its lime green with bright pink boa feathers, dontcha know...very fetching)...and I'm gonna settle right in for some of that cheesecake you mentioned...
But first... as for my memo...
To whom it may concern:
Please be advised that Outonalimb is resigning her position as master of the universe effective immediately.
The pay was lousy, her minions uncooperative and incredibly ungrateful, and the hours were much too long.
She's accepted a position with a little start-up venture known simply as HER LIFE AND HEALTHY CHOICES. The responsibilities with this new job are fewer, the burdens lighter, and the benefit package is out of this world !!!

To whom it may concern,
Cessy decided that she is going to start listening to her gut........... and she quit one of her jobs today, because it didn't 'feel right' to have to wear a skimpy tee shirt (as a uniform) at one of her bartending jobs.
To whom it may concern, I won't worry about the 'what if's' attached to my decisions-- I know that the universe will open a new door on everyone that I intentionaly shut-- because I listened to ME.
To whom it may concern, I will take my day off tomorrow (that was supposed to be work) (till I quit) and go play mini golf with my son.....
To whom it may concern, my instincts are going to start directing me............. And I know I will be o.k.
To whom it may concern, I will pray that I have peace-- today this is all I ask for.

The test came out ok.
And I will *never* look up medical tests on the computer again!
(my, my! I think I just shed a few more pounds!

Welcome, Laura, it sounds like you are already on a good path for taking care of yourself, and keep trying those meetings...they saved my life, literally, and many here found the support just what they needed.
And Teach, I am glad the tests went well. It's hard not to worry but now that it's over, maybe treat yourself to a very special "All About Teach" day.
