An update from another old timer....

I am now a grandma! (and loving every minute of it!!)
my RAS is a devoted uncle (as are her other aunts and uncles)...she is going to be one "adored" little girl!

Unfortunately we've had some medical issues in the family.....

at first I thought "OMG now this??!!" then I stopped and remembered....

life is a journey and there will always be bumps (ups and downs)...once they stop then the ride is over

so we've picked ourselves up dusted ourselves off and rolled back the sleeves....
there is a new challenge and we'll need all the tools in the tool belt to meet it ....
carpenters arrive on a new job site to work on new problems using the same tools from the last gig

I am doing fine....ready to face all possibilities but not willing to let any of them spoil my serenity or gratitude or pleasure now

Thanks for the update, and isn't it a wonderful experience being a grandmother?! I was with my AD in the delivery both times when she had my grandchildren, and those are memories I will always cherish!

Congratulations lil, this child is so lucky to have a wonderful grandma like you.

Keeping our serenity when all around us are losing theirs is a challenge, but one well worth meeting.

I think often of CatsPajamas hula hoop reference, if it falls outside my hula hoop, it's not my stuff.
